We had stayed before when it was the Hog but returned last weekend and really enjoyed the self-catering bias this time around.
The family suite we stayed in slept 2 adults and 2 kids and had a self contained kitchen....Would thoroughly recommend and lots of local amenities to enjoy in the town too. Number 1 choice for Lowestoft!

We stayed in room 7 the family studio, which for us and our daughter, had access to a small kitchen, garden area, which was wonderfully kept, and wonderful to sit in with the days of sunshine we have had of late. If we had more time, we would have enjoyed a mini picnic in the garden.
Rooms are spotless. Parking is in abundance.
We stayed for a long weekend just after it reopened and ended up driving to Southwold for dinner one night and the other night spent at The Ship pub where the food was lovely, staff friendly and inviting.

![It’s been a busy couple of months at First Light Hotel getting ready for opening, but it’s all coming together after a few little unforeseen hiccups.
We had a great day of photography yesterday with @hollyhamblingphotography to get the pictures ready for the website and booking platform which we hope to finally have up and running in the next ten days or so, hopefully ready for an Easter (or before ?)opening. Here is a sneak peek of one of our new suites which will be perfect for families and is also accessible for those with mobility challenges.

Are you dreaming of leaving the same area you have been stuck in for the last few months and blowing away those cobwebs? Whilst hotels cannot reopen until May 17th, at The Hog Hotel Pakefield we are lucky enough to have six outside rooms each with their own private entrance. Several of these rooms sleep up to four people and some also accommodate a dog ? . Rooms shown are a comfortable double and our two suites. As we are unable to provide our usual services, these rooms are available at a much reduced ROOM ONLY rate from April 12th until we are able to reopen as a hotel again in mid May.
